Post subject:  What is this place all about?
So what is this place all about?. As you can tell I'm a little slow. But I've had a look around and I'm struggling to get a grasp of the teachings. I obviously haven't had a thorough read, so I have no doubt that its me and not the forum. :D

What's a good book that will get me into the mindset of this forum? I'm noticing a lot of pimp/pimping books getting a mention. (Pimps and pimping is a completely foreign thing to me)

one word of advice: If you came here looking for help with women, you will find that this forum is 99% about yourself and 1% about women, if that.

You do not yet know the can of worms you have stepped into, and when you really have come to realize it (many here have not fully realized it, including myself) you will have completely and utterly embraced it.

The journey is not easy my friend, and don't be discouraged if you find you have lost sight of your goals in coming and staying here.

They are really not that important :ugeek:

Actually the term that we endorse here is Pimp Tight or the way of the Pimp Tightness, it's a more squared version of the pimp but toned down, although some core concepts and beliefs are held from pimp game...

I think it's hilarious. Yes, to begin with it was a tad confusing. Haha but after a while I found myself reading The Kidd!!’s writings in my best African American pimp voice Snoop dog style.

It would help really if you guys started asking yourselves how you want yourselves to be portrayed.

Is it not the case that the way you express yourself is a direct reflection of your thought processes? Isn't it time that your thought processes evolved?

Isn't that why you're here?


Kidd's writings first came about in 1999. The language used in some areas is comedic and descriptive. These are not definite terms and he would say himself that he has evolved since then. The point is not the language in the teachings. It is the ideas behind the language that counts. Perhaps it's time to re-read what he's written and try and understand the essence of what is being conveyed in your own words rather than the mere description used in the posts.

Also, Kidd is not some rapper dude with a chain around his neck, a cain in his hand and a white hat going 'yea, yea, yea'. He's an upstanding member of society. He is well educated, self made and self sufficient. I think he's even served in the military too.

If you wish to emulate him so much, perhaps you might want to look at all of him rather than just look at a couple of words and suddenly think he's a snoop doggy pimpy kind of guy.

...and for the benifit of the rest of us who don't understand some slang lingustics, some English would help.
